Self Talk is a very important psychological Mental Game Metric... that takes place in between shots.

Self Talk is the inner voice that is always chatting away inside your head.

Positive Self Talk can be a powerful tool for improving self belief, confidence and challenge response.

The first few times you monitor your self talk... just listen.

Pay attention to the positivity vs negativity of your self talk.

At the end of the round give your self talk a + positive rating or a - negative rating.

If the overall tone of your self talk is negative your are making it much harder to focus strongly, commit to your shots and trust your training and ability.

As you can imagine self talk can change dramatically from round to round, hole to hole and even shot to shot.

By starting to monitor and track your self talk... you are giving yourself another tool to increase your self belief and confidence over time.
