When you are Committing to a shot/swing... make sure it is a shot you have successfully executed 8 out of 10 times before.
You can certainly try shots/swings that you have never tried before... It can be fun to test out a new challenge.
But you need to recognize and accept that your level of trust will be lower.
When your trust is lower the chance of success for that shot/swing will also be lower.
It's all about finding your personal balance between fun challenges and achieving success with your shots/swings.
