Focus For Golf

𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬

❞𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆... 𝒐𝒏 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅.❞

Focus Keys for your Pre Shot Routine:

𝟏. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐭 - 𝐂𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 Full Focus in the Cognitive/Thinking system in your brain to analyze the situation and pick the best shot that triggers maximum trust.

𝟐. 𝐑𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐭 - 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 Switch Focus to the Sensory/Motor part of the brain to "Rehearse the Shot". "See the Shot" and/or "Feel the Shot" to give the Sensory Motor part of your brain as much information as possible about the shot/swing you have committed to.

𝟑. 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐭 - 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 Switch Focus to the Automatic Pilot/Let it Happen subconscious systems in your brain. LET your body do the job you have prepared it for and trained it to do.

𝐀𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 #𝟑 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐀𝐃 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬.

The key is NOT trying to control the movement with your Thinking Brain.

Holding on to Swing thoughts is a sign of lack of Trust in your abilities and training... and a guarantee that your best swing will not happen.

It is like thinking of the movement of your fingers and wrist when writing your signature. It will not end up looking like your signature.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧.

Have you ever stood over a shot and KNOWN you were going to hit a good shot... and then you did?

You can learn to access that feeling.

The Process I use with golfers helps them learn to tune Focus and Turn on Your Autopilot.

Autopilot Mode is where all your best shots are stored.

Better Focus... Better Shots. Better Shots... Lower Scores.
